Hi Beth, that's a tough one... officially the answer to both parts of your question is "no". Our dogs and cats are basically farm workers, and they are extremely territorial... that's not to say we've never had animal visitors and guests... only long-term, committed residents have been allowed to bring or keep pets at moonshadow. Our sister community, Ulinawi, is a little more allowing of animal guests, but they have learned the hard way that pet visitors can wreak havoc (goats and chickens killed by dogs). Please don't dismiss us because of this restriction...

Hello,

Is there an alternative for interns with a pet, such as living off-site?

Thanks!

Hi Max. At Moonshadow we have no free-of-charge internship positions, as we are a teaching institute. You may wish to contact Bradley Jones via the Ulinawi Natural Building Project page, who may possibly have positions available for competent, self-motivated and qualified builders.
