    Dear Chris,

My name is Jose Luis Gualinga. I am from a small indigenous community in the Amazon jungle of Ecuador called Sarayaku. Although small, we are internationally known for our successful resistance against oil companies. We consider ourselves protectors of the rain forest; the lungs of our earth. An American that visited my community mentioned your organization that supports living in harmony with nature and I thought I’d reach out to you.

I am contacting you because I am currently looking to collaborate with people in the United States to share what I know about ayahuasca, the spirits that live in plants and how they cure people, indigenous cosmovision for our world, sustainable development, survival skills, shamanism, herbal medicine, etc. I come from a long lineage of powerful Kichwa shamans and my dreams have informed me that it is my time to share what I have learned with a global audience to bring forth awakening and healing. I need someone in the United States to believe in me. I am committed to the same vision as your retreat institute. I think I would be a unique addition to your projects, events, and education for however long the Universe will allow.

I would be happy to send you my resume and bio that detail my work and vision.

Thank you! Pagrachu (in my native language, Kichwa). I look forward to hearing from you.

    Kindly,

    Jose Luis Gualinga
