Food for Life is going to be BIG this year with amazing presenters. Our website is trying to get going, but still needs work. However, lots of good stuff on it. If you have any spare time, we could sure use some volunteers, especially before and during Food for Life, including kitchen help, general cleaning and maintenance, compost toilet management, registration, website and address list maintenance, wood hauling for: fire circles, Cob oven, and shiitake workshop, kid programs, parking, shuttles from the parking area. See the attached letter if you are interested a work trade position at FFL. Other help for the spring and summer includes: office work and we really need volunteer office managers(you can do this on your own). * Accounts * Media: web, tv, radio, local mags and newspapers, etc. * Website-maintain, update, improve (wordpress so not too difficult) * Registration, records, collection of fees during events * Maintain mailing list-we hope to move to mailchimp soon pruning, gardening, maintenance of structures, working on trails, possibly farm sitting, etc. we are also looking for industrious board members. There will be a pot luck after the Wildflower hike Mar 28 for those interested. Remember, we are a non-profit, you can deduct your volunteer hours and your travel expenses from your income tax.
