[Crewlist] Mountain Justice Spring Break visits SVI - March 9

Mountain Justice Spring Break 2009 will visit SVI / moonshadow on  
Monday, March 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CST.

We'll be doing a tour, lunch and a few brief workshops; there will be  
a gardening concentration and a building concentration. The tour will  
begin at 10:00 a.m. from Sweetgum and we'll do the SVI tour, then a  
brief garden tour before lunch at moonshadow.

After lunch, the gardeners will join Trish and Randall in the gardens  
-- activities may include discussions, planting, soil bed  
preparation, weeding, composting, vermiculture, permaculture, etc.

Builders will work with Patrick, Chris and Will on rockwork,  
trailwork and a quick cob building demonstration (patching the  
kitchen fireplace).

SVI / moonshadow crew are welcome to come and work with us... let us  
know by Thurs Mar 5 if you plan to attend so we can plan the meals  
accordingly. Y'all may wish to arrive Saturday or Sunday prior to the  
event to help with preparation for the work crews. We'll have around  
25 MJ folks here, so there will be food prep, cleanup and materials  
prep needed.
