Would you like an informational and educational tour of Sequatchie Valley Institute at moonshadow?

We offer tours on the third Saturday of each month so the public can check out our permaculture gardens, edible landscaping and natural architecture. Learn about our use of active and passive solar energy, water conservation and natural waste management.

The tour will begin at 1pm central time (if your watch is set for eastern time, you can show up at 2pm).

Space and time are limited, so please Email Chris to reserve a spot — or phone him at (423) 949-5922.

More Information

  • There is a $6.00 (per person) fee for the tour
    • additional donations are accepted (cash or check to Sequatchie Valley Institute)
  • Please wear long pants and walking/hiking shoes
  • Bring your own lunch if you wish to eat

Please call for directions – do not google or mapquest without also talking to us (or prepare to get potentially lost)

Hi alex, the next workshop is… next year!

We do have some workdays coming up at our adjacent community, Ulinawi… including one this Saturday, with a party that night at Irie Hilltop Gardens. Give us a shout if you are interested in working (and partying) all day/night.
