Work Weekend

greetings all! well, things are not in an emergency status now - a
ladder holding up the tarp here, a slit in the tarp for drainage
there… and although we got a great response from our call out, due
to a handful of cancelations and other reasons, we are postponing the
work days until next weekend. hope you can join us.
so the work days are:
Saturday and Sunday, September 22-23 (carol’s birthday)

Wow! Quite a bit of work got done. If you’ve ever been to SVI, you probably remember the giant stack of logs up by the “goat barn” parking area. Well, it’s all been cut to length and moved down the hill to the cabin/workshed. The work crew moved 3 full trailer loads of logs and got to play “GIANT LINCOLN LOGS” to begin a new 3-story, 3000 sq ft structure. I’m sure the crew will be asking for assistance through the winter to get this new addition completed. Legume took a few photos, which we’ll post up as soon as they are received.
